Position Summary:
Deliver various items to customers' homes or businesses. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions:
- Deliver customers' orders safely, quickly, and cheerfully.
- Help keep the parking lot clean and free from litter.
- Accept payments and keep proper change account documentation.
- Maintain delivery vehicle in safe, fueled, and clean condition.
- Keep vehicle maintenance records.
- Provide good customer and associate relations.
- Able to communicate with customers and associates.
- Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
- Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in the area of maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly.
- Able to calmly, courteously and tactfully handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
- Able to read maps, signs, delivery orders, and product labels
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Knowledge of the required delivery area and town.
