Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as scrum master for several scrum teams within the R&D organization driving backlog prioritization, sprint planning, retrospective and demos with the stakeholders
- Communicate and align with department leaders and stakeholders on project, sprint plans, product roadmap, status, change requests, issues and risks
- Follows standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation.
- Identify project management process improvement opportunities, incorporating lessons learned into future projects/sprints.
- Maintain scope change recognizing issues and risks and/or requests from key stakeholders
- Hosts all scrum ceremonies and Coaches team members on scrum best practice
- Remove roadblocks throughout the sprint cycle
- Strong experience as a scrum master delivering software projects
- 5 years (preferred) of experience in managing Software or IT related projects and must demonstrate a leadership role in at least two or three successful projects that were delivered on time and on budget.
- Experience managing cloud-based project implementations with one or more of the cloud providers like Azure, GCP or AWS
- High degree of proficiency in PM software, Microsoft Office applications and presentations
- Experience with the modern Project Management and Agile methodologies
- Experience operating in a highly matrixed & cross-functional organization highly preferred
- BA/BS or other technical discipline
