Job Summary
As a warehouse admin, you will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently. The ideal candidate will take initiative, be competent in prioritizing work, and have a desire to contribute to the growth of the company.
General Responsibilities
- Submit required paperwork for each new address on a timely basis,
- Receive, distribute, and process a high volume of day-to-day paperwork and reports,
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the warehouse and production personnel, the Home Office, and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of job duties,
- Serve as liaison between the warehouse and home office and
- Research unfinished projects to determine what is needed
- Keep track of hours worked by temporary employees
- Maintain accurate count of assigned materials
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of office support experience,
- Must be proficient in basic computer skills that include but are not limited to data entry, scanning, email, Excel, vendor portals and company software,
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize, communicate well and be committed to providing quality work,
- Self-motivated to work predominantly alone in a warehouse office environment and
- Perform the physical demands of the position - working indoors with long periods of time sitting; able to occasionally lift heavy objects in excess of 20 pounds.
