About the Job
The Senior Recruiter is responsible for full lifecycle recruitment across multiple functions (i.e. Sales, CX, Engineering, Finance) at Laika. He/She/They will advise hiring managers and partner closely with them to execute niche/tough-to-fill searches. Responsibilities will include defining roles, posting jobs, sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluating candidates, facilitating debrief meetings, and coaching hiring managers/interviewers. This position reports to the Manager of Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
- Acquire clear understanding of assigned requisitions through close partnership with hiring teams
- Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to drive difficult-to-fill searches to completion
- Build a pipeline of qualified candidates through recruitment channels including passive sourcing, job boards, career fairs, community network events, social media, and other traditional/non-traditional methods
- Manage the entire life cycle of the talent acquisition process for all assigned requisitions, including creating/updating job descriptions, sourcing, pre-screening, scheduling interviews, conducting behavioral-based interviews and debriefing hiring teams
- Advise and coach hiring teams on industry best practices, market insight, and effective interviewing techniques, providing follow-up support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal/state/local laws and regulations
- Develop job descriptions, candidate profiles, assessments, interview guides and/or other materials that will support the recruitment process
- Raise brand awareness within the hiring community to make a compelling value proposition for Laika
- Serve as a single point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the search process, providing timely updates; manage overall process and candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Maintain tracking and reporting on talent acquisition metrics
- Lead recruiting initiatives and ad-hoc projects as needed
Key Skillsets / Knowledge Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education required
- Minimum 4 years of full lifecycle recruitment experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS startup environment
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; an ability to influence stakeholders and make compelling assessments of candidates and offers
- Effective relationship management skills and ability to apply them across all levels within the organization
- Must demonstrate exceptional judgment with critical evaluation and analytical skills; prior use of behavioral interviewing methods is a must
- Experience with a broad range of recruiting tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems, Boolean searches, professional networks, social media (Facebook, Twitter), referrals, et c.
- Well organized, attentive to detail, able to multitask and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team

Compensation:
- The salary range for this position is $95,000 - $115,000
