LDV is currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Logistics Manager. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of truck chassis and post- production vehicle procedures, the ability to manage others, and over-the-road driving experience.
Job responsibilities include:
- Managing the timely delivery of vehicles in a manner that supports LDV customer satisfaction goal by:
- Hiring, training, assigned and evaluating the Vehicle Delivery Specialists
- Coordinating the delivery of products
- Providing information related to DOT records according to federal guidelines to the Human Resource Department
- Ensuring that Vehicle Delivery Specialists are training customers to 100% satisfaction
- Ensuring that the Vehicle Delivery Specialists are completing all delivery paperwork accurately
- Coordination of travel arrangements for Vehicle Delivery Specialists and Service Personnel
- Coordination of transportation for customer visits
- Maintain a safe and accident-free work environment for distribution employees
- Coordinate transportation quotes for all sales units as requested, including export processes to ensure vehicles that are sold outside of the United States are transported in compliance with international policies and procedures
- Manage, track, and pickup vehicles bodies from the vehicle manufacturers as required
- Ensure that insurance requirements are accurate and up-to-date as per the state and federal regulations.
Requirements
Candidates should have these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or one to two years related experience and/or training
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license (preferably CDL) with a clean driving record
- Must have excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong work ethic
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
