Assistant Manager for Temporary Staffing Agency

Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager
● Source potential clients through referrals, network, social media, contact campaigns, cold calling
● Prepare, present, discuss professional staffing services proposals
● Screen and interview candidates, schedule candidate tests and interviews as necessary
● Prepare and submit resumes to clients, schedule and coordinate client interviews
● Maintain appropriate records and applicant tracking system throughout the process
● Document contacts, connections, activities
● Maintain solid understanding of open job requirements, as well as overall hiring profiles
Basic clerical work, typing, emails, phones etc.
Requirements of the Assistant Manager
● 2 or more years of experience at a staffing firm is a plus (not a requirement)
● Strong communication, phone communication skills, social media & networking skills
Strong organizational skills
● Solid computer and Internet skills, MS Office and Outlook, Word, etc.
● Excellent customer service skills
● Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
