What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auditor I - Now Hiring position at LRCA?
Local accounting firm seeking qualified individuals to fill Auditor I positions. These positions will be responsible for Medicaid cost report activities including the calculation of partial settlements, desk audit settlements, field audits, reopended cost report settlements, as well as calculating supplemental program average commercial rates and associated payments.
BS degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. BS degree in General Business with emphasis on accounting accepted. Senior year internship possible. Experience with Microsoft Excel is necessary. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Access helpful.
Medicare/Medicaid cost report, third party reimbursement or physician billing experience is a plus. On the job training provided. Excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision 401K and paid time off. Salary commensurate with experience. Potential for partial week home based work in future. Minimal travel is required.
