Job Summary:
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Developer (II) brings technical expertise and technical thought leadership guidance to drive best in class architecture and alignment and adoption of solutions across Maritz. Specific focus will be on automation design, capabilities, troubleshooting, and digital worker (BOTs) development and/or additional programming. Under minimal direction, the RPA Developer creates and designs new code on current software, UiPath, and performs enhancements on existing automation code and any new software attributed to their department.
Job Description:
- 60% - Participates in gathering all necessary automation requirements and works with team members to identify such requirements and automation opportunities. High concentration of testing robotic processes to verify steps are completed accurately in a technically manner. Creates process documentation, which describes in detail how a digital worker automation is set up and functioning. Leads integration and UAT tests to identify and correct any issues with the technical setup of the robotic process. Identifies RPA opportunities and RPA best practices. Trains client users on how to use and maintain the robotic processes delivered, including monitoring automations and escalating any automation related issues to the RPA manager and appropriate stakeholders.
- 20% - Works and thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment. Designs and develops all RPA related work with the value of the customers in mind and utilizes technology to its most efficient ability.
- 20% - Responsible for troubleshooting and implement any bug-fix as directed for any RPA process while supporting, analyzing and implementing enhancements. Effective and timely communication to RPA manager and appropriate stakeholders is expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years coding experience strongly preferred (.net, Java). Proficient in several of programming languages is highly desired.
- 2-5 years’ experience working within an automation space - UiPath preferred, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Workfusion also acceptable.
- Understanding of database design concepts required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and familiarity with PowerAutomate is highly preferred.
- Insightful with a desire to keep learning, growing and teaching.
- Demonstrates the ability to be an effective collaborator with team players and exhibits logical thinking and dedication to the role.
- Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills, especially with non-technical and technical team members.
