The Importance of this Role
We are looking for someone who can help support our recently opened Phoenix office (Matic Western Hub). This role is unique in that it is a hybrid role that works with both the People Operations and IT departments to ensure the office runs smoothly. We are seeking a candidate that possesses creativity, enthusiasm, and desire to ensure our incredible culture blossoms at our second US site. The office is expected to see considerable growth over the next few years, enabling this role the opportunity to put their imprint on a key growth engine of Matic.

Your Responsibilities:
- Office Management: manage office related vendors and handle ordering, inventory and maintenance of furniture, IT equipment, office supplies and kitchen supplies
- Culture & Events: help foster a dynamic, positive culture by organizing social events and programs and making improvements to our office space
- HR Support: assist with new hire onboarding and employee lifecycle management
- Administrative Support: Assist leadership team with meeting preparations, travel arrangements and other miscellaneous tasks
- IT Support: act as the IT point of contact for the Phoenix office– assist with new hire tech set-up and basic office IT troubleshooting
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in an Office Management, Human Resources or Administrative Role
- People Skills - friendly, outgoing person who can help run our Phoenix office but also support in other functions of People Operations
- Technical Skills - basic IT troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Windows and Mac computers
- Time Management - organized and efficient with prioritizing and managing time to deliver
- Multi-tasking - able to juggle multiple responsibilities, projects, and asks willingness to pitch in and help with whatever is needed
- Self Starter - possess a can do attitude and be adaptable to anything thrown your way
- Adaptable - comfortable operating in a hectic, fast paced environment
