About the Role
The Human Resources Coordinator supports Matson Logistics, Inc.’s Human Resources Department. This role reports into the Senior HR Manager and requires strategic focus, attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and courteous customer service. The Human Resources Coordinator maintains the highest degree of confidentiality and has the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively while providing administrative assistance, routinely assisting with training & development, and recruiting and onboarding.
What you’ll do:
- Assist with full-cycle recruiting activities including posting jobs, contacting candidates, scheduling interviews, coordinating temporary employees, assisting with the preparation of offer letters and completing background checks.
- Complete Workday entries for new hires, terminations & other pay or status changes.
- Maintain employee and confidential files as needed.
- Monitor company mandated trainings.
- Support and assist with special projects, filing, etc.
- Coordinate and conduct employee onboarding and prepares welcome packets for new hires.
- Assist Senior HR Manager with planning of employee activities.
- Manage employment verification requests as needed.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining all office supplies necessary for Concord office.
- Other duties assigned by Senior HR Manager.

- Excellent time management, organizing and prioritization skills; must be capable of multi-tasking.
- Proven ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
And these qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with a minimum one-year of administrative experience; HR experience preferred.
