Robstown Dentistry & Orthodontics has an opening for an Office Manager in Robstown, TX. We are a large, well-respected, private practice looking to complete our staff.  We are looking for someone who can provide excellent, 5-star customer service and multi-task with a smile. Responsibilities:
  • Model outstanding patient service, written, verbal, and other communication skills.
  • Identify team member strengths and areas of opportunity as it relates to patient skills.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to optimal patient service levels.
  • On-board all team members to seamlessly integrate into the dynamic practice environment while continuing to meet the patient and business needs.
  • Train operations team members to perform duties in a timely and accurate manner while auditing work to confirm quality and provide additional training as needed.
  • Partner with the human resources department for coaching and guidance regarding personnel management, including performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and performance warnings.
  • Attend meetings, training courses, and other learning and development opportunities as made available and/or required
  • Partner with dentist and regional operations leadership to make operational decisions to benefit the dental practice. Understand, analyze, and action plan key performance metrics to successfully lead and grow the business.
  • Hold team accountable to regular and timely required workplace diversity, HIPAA, and OSHA training requirements.
  • Review operating performance results and take immediate steps to implement course corrective activity as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communicator and motivator to confidently lead our team by building relationships of trust, open communication, and collaborative office culture.
  • Well-organized, adaptable individual who is comfortable managing diverse teams while handling changing priorities.
  • Intermediate Microsoft office proficiency, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word with Dentrix knowledge.
  • Management Experience: 3 years (Required).
  • Serve as liaison between doctors/providers and a team regarding work assignments and clinical priorities.
  • Conduct audits of patient schedules; quality of data entry and patient information; consistency of patient consultations and financial presentations; internal referral process; and supply orders and utilization.
  • Assist front office team as needed in answering phones, scheduling patients, and any other needs to continue the practice flow.
  • Help identify, select, and hire high-performing candidates.
  • Perform team member development including but not limited to training, continuous coaching conversations, performance documentation, and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Create and manage weekly team member schedules and labor costs.
