JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Manager, Research and Development, this position will support the complete appetizer product development and the pilot line teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The day-to-day activities will vary however, common responsibilities include:

Original:

• Physical inventory management using lift trucks including crown lift and stock picker.
• Inventory management through WMS and SAP.
• Monitor the R&D research racks and plant trial pallets in cold storage.
• Sample pick-up and delivery to the Lab and Pilot Line.

Additional:

Lab and Pilot Line Management

• Ensure the Lab is well-maintained, stocked and cleaned
• General maintenance of the area (repairs, fryer cleaning and calibrations, functionality)
• Manage scheduling for other departments that require use of the facility
• Assisting with getting ingredients and oil for the fryers from factories to support product development.
• Assist on PD projects and pilot line set-up as required.

Administrative

• Raise purchase orders for R&D team in Coupa
• Troubleshoot and resolves Coupa errors
• Monitor monthly R&D spend report for lab sundries and material and ensuring records match transactions
• Manage P-card invoices for R&D team.

KEY QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCES:

• First aid certificate is nice to have or get
• Demonstrated proficiency working with WMS and SAP
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work without direct supervision

OTHER INFORMATION

• Time will be split between an office, lab and the pilot plant and the cold temperature environment of the cold storage warehouse facility.
