Contribution:
We are seeking a Rig Welding Inspector to be based in the company's Ingleside facility.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee Contractor Quality program and inspection activities during fabrication and construction activities
- Review Contractor's quality procedures and verify ITP implementation
- Verify NDT inspections, interpret indications, and report results to Contractor
- Independently verify inspections utilizing various NDT techniques seeking corrosion, defects, etc.
- Review and verify welder and welding procedure qualification
- Conducts site monitoring of NDT personnel and approve NDT procedures
- Coordinate, develop and perform site surveillance activities according to the surveillance plan
- Advise and report Quality issues, status and metrics to FLNG Quality Manager
Qualifications:
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
- Minimum 5 yrs experience in NDT field (UT, RT, PT)
- Experience working with Contractor
- NDE inspection certification as a certified NDT Level II, SNT-TC-1A preferred
- Proficient with MS office products
