What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cook position at New York Yacht Club?
Responsible for cooking a la carte lunch, brunch, &/or
dinner. Will need to prep station and rotate food every shift according to
current menu. Will assist in the preparation and execution of banquets as
instructed by the Chef’s. Will, occasionally, work a banquet as a Carver, work
a grill at a cookout or as a Shucker at a raw bar. Will assist at other
stations in the kitchen as needed, including washing dishes and cleaning floors
if necessary. Will assist in any area requested by management. Will be
responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of area.
