What are the responsibilities and job description for the CAD Technician position at Newance?
The Company:
Endpoint Solutions Corp, an employee-owned engineering services company based in Franklin WI, is looking for a motivated team member to provide full-time CAD support for engineering, surveying, and environmental projects.
The Role:
Primary duties include the development of maps, figures/exhibits, design sheets, and models for a wide variety of project types. Typical deliverables include site layout figures and exhibits, demolition plans, stormwater/grading plans, utility plans, process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), plan and profile details, cross-section details, and orthographic details. Other duties may include assistance with surveying or field reconnaissance efforts.
The Right Fit:
A Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Drafting or related field experience with a high proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, Plant3D, vehicle turning simulation or other modeling software is desired.
