Norton Country Club, an exquisitely beautiful golf course and country club, has an immediate opening for an experienced general manager. The general manager will be responsible for conducting oneself as a representative of the company’s management team, by visibly supporting and implementing policy and demonstrating high standards of ethics and integrity with members, peers and employees.
Responsibilities
· Oversee all aspects of club operations, including course maintenance, golf shop, and food and beverage.
· Actively market club memberships, member services and club facilities to attract new members and achieve revenue objectives.
· Maintain exceptional member relations and facilities by creating a quality environment through staffing, programming, service operations and maintenance.
· Recruit, select and develop a qualified staff, including department heads to understand the relationships between value, membership satisfaction, and member retention.
· Ensure expense controls, procedures and forecasting are in place and monitored in each department.
· Complete all required financial and administrative reporting accurately and on time.
· Ensure all employee policies and procedures are adhered to and ensure all employees are accountable for compliance of these policies and procedures.
· Actively participate in club events, as a means to gather feedback and ensure the level of attention and service to exceed member expectations.
Job Requirements
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in golf club/hospitality management.
· Previous banquet and food & beverage management experience.
· Ability to operate Jonas Club Software.
