CMA/LPN

The Mobile Care Team at Nice Healthcare has an exciting opportunity for a fantastic CMA or LPN! In this role, you’ll be performing in-home wellness assessments including: vital signs with height and weight, BMI, and waist and/or hip circumference. The CMA or LPN may perform venipuncture for wellness visits and point of care testing for acute visit needs, all while working in a virtual partnership with a registered nurse and a certified nurse practitioner/physician assistant. Our home visits are what make us special, and the patients LOVE them. Our patients are pre-screened, safe and incredibly nice. You will always feel supported with your partner NP/PA as well as with the RN care coordinators.

What you’ll do at Nice:

• You must be Nice and like to be Nice to people - both patients and coworkers
• Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license/insurance and comfort with a full day of driving long distances
• Proficiency with phlebotomy and/or IV starts
• Excellent physical assessment skills
• Excellent reporting and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfort with technology including working extensively in an EMR and beyond
• Ability to lift a 30 lb bag frequently
• Being accountable for maintaining supplies and inventory for home visits
• Comfort with working in a virtual team model. Work is on the road or from the home as we don’t have a home office
• Ability to adapt to last minute changes/requests from patients and/or providers

HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS:

• LPN, CMA and/or Phlebotomist experience required
• Proficiency with phlebotomy and/or IV experience
• Previous experience with POC testing
• An understanding of basic lab screens and the equipment used (tubes, strep swabs, etc)

What you’ve done before:

• We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic, solution-oriented individual that loves taking care of people
• Experience in a clinical setting is preferred
• Extremely successful experience with phlebotomy
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques, collection and processing of labs
• Experience with point of care testing, including but not limited to: throat swabs, nasopharyngeal swabs, urine collection, pregnancy testing and wart treatment
• In-home assessments and/or basic vital signs collection in a clinical setting
• Ability to work in an environment that promotes independence and self-led learning
• Proficient with technology

• Communication is key! Being able to communicate often and effectively across multiple teams will lead to the patient receiving the quickest care possible.
