What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shift Supervisor position at Nicky's Coal Fired?
Nicky's Coal Fired is hiring a part time shift supervisor.
This person will be responsible for overseeing the Front of House during dinner service 3 nights a week. Duties include checking voicemails and forwarding messages, ensuring team members are adequately doing sidework duties, assisting in setting up the dining room for service, and communicating shift notes with team members. During service, responsibilities include greeting and interacting with customers to ensure a great dining experience, and supporting team members to execute a smooth service and create a hospitable environment for our guests.
This is a great position for someone with experience, although we are willing to train someone with prior foodservice experience who is looking to advance their position and learn new skills.
The ideal person for this job is naturally friendly, an effective communicator, and works well in a busy environment. We take great pride in our hospitality both with our customers and with our fellow team members! Hours are typically 2pm-10pm, although the shift could end earlier or later based on business volumes.
Pay is $20-$24/hr, based on experience.
