General Overview
We are currently seeking an exceptional General Manager to join our team. This position will have full responsibility for the success of total operations of the restaurant, including fostering and developing an extraordinary team culture. This hands-on management role requires a self-starter that can plan, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day operations of our restaurant while leading and motivating our staff. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with a Michelin Star or fine dining restaurant and can proactively grow the business with their entrepreneurial spirit.

Essential Functions
- Formulate and execute the vision of short and long-term strategies to achieve key business objectives and drive growth in sales and profits.
- Oversee all operations and functions of the restaurant, while managing on-going profitability and guest satisfaction targets. Act as support system for all areas of the restaurant.
- Create and manage the P&L by following cash control/security procedures, manage inventory, labor, and take proactive actions to drive the business.
- Support the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contract with third-party vendors for essential equipment and services.
- Create and build a culture of customer-centric focus while motivating staff to deliver exemplary service and guest satisfaction. Ensure highest quality levels of products and hospitality.
- Lead recruitment efforts and manage and develop teams to deliver best-in-class hospitality.
- Foster a passionate guest base, continuously striving to find ways to strengthen the restaurant’s community.
- Identify root causes of gaps in guest satisfaction and take the lead in the development of corrective and proactive action plans where appropriate.
- Act as the primary interface between specific business/functional areas and Executive leadership as well as prepare regular reports for upper management.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations with providing a positive critical assessment of each employee.
- Adhere to health and safety codes, including ensuring all cleanliness standards are maintained, as well as Company safety and security policies.
- Follow preventative maintenance programs with regards to facility, equipment, and grounds maintenance.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate degree in a related field or an equivalent of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a General Manager in a casual-dining restaurant.
- Bilingual in Korean; required.
- Experience in the early stages of a high growth business preferred.
- A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies.
- Working knowledge of KPI metrics including service and profitability to maximize revenues and guest experience.
- Rigorous implementation of training modules for onboarding with continuous training & coaching practices.
- Ability to maintain a demanding schedule in a dynamic work environment
- Advanced computer skills including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proven ability to increase sales and manage cost margins
- Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes.
- ServSafe Certificate required.
