Summary
At OneHope we strive to provide the transformational Word of God to children and youth around the world. The Events Lead contributes to further our mission through leading a cross-functional workgroup to design captivating fundraising and brand awareness events and trips that communicate OneHope’s mission and invites partners and prospective partners to a deeper relationship and response.
The Lead is an energetic galvanizer who is highly collaborative and strives to ideate, design and implement plans for the pursuit of various Advancement goals as directed by leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the cross-functional work of the Advancement team towards curating partner experiences that would engage partners and prospective partners in a meaningful, actionable way with OneHope’s mission, vision and key programs.
- Responsible for Event calendar planning through following the Ideation, Design, Deploy, and Documentation stages (Outcome Based).
- Lead the team that is responsible for the planning and execution of Event logistic and operations.
- Oversees the team that is responsible for planning and execution of Short Term Missions Trips.
- Initiate and care for OneHope partners through Culture of Engagement assignments, specifically Prayer Calling, or as assigned by leadership.
- Collaborate with other team members to design and implement strategies for the pursuit of various Advancement goals as directed by leadership. The objectives and outcomes of Advancement are not separate from every team member's personal objective, but are owned by each person on the team
Other Skills and Abilities
- We are looking for a galvanizing leader who can excite and rally the team around objectives. Highly motivated, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with previous experience in event planning or coordination.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Work Environment
- Monday – Friday during business hours (9 AM-5 PM).
- Occasional evening and weekend work might be required.
- Our work is international and may require some flexibility to accommodate teams in different time zones across the globe.
- Travel may be necessary, both domestic and abroad.
