Job Description
Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in operating variety of machines to manufacture parts.
- Responsible for all Safety, Quality and Production functions related to their assigned shift.
- Strives to demonstrate effective leadership by training, motivating and developing themselves and the individuals with whom he/she works.
- Administers policy according to Employee Handbook in conjunction with Human resources to maintain a good working atmosphere and proper discipline.
- Maintains established production schedules by maintaining cycle times, cavitation and internal scrap at or better than target.
- Assists maintenance personnel and advises Maintenance Manager and Production Manager of major maintenance items.
- Works with other departments to maintain ISO compliance.
- Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements. Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF Systems.
- Observes safety and security procedures, including maintaining confidentially, using equipment / materials properly, reporting potentially unsafe conditions, and acting upon appropriate actions.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
- or five years’ related experience and/or training;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- $60k - $65 annual based on experience and qualifications.
