What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Technician position at Pavion?
Pavion and our family of companies (AFA, Structure Works, Star Asset Security, REECE et al) are seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Strong client service and results orientation
- Timely, accurate and efficient handling of paperwork
- Timely and accurate updates of job and contract files
- Proper hand and power tool operations and safety
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
- Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group
situations - Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves
- Ability to program and troubleshoot advanced electronic control systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Ability to wire and troubleshoot relay logic
- On call service
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of experience in programming and troubleshooting advanced electronic control
systems - Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified in at least two Access Control Systems
- Experienced in at least one Video Monitoring System (Milestone, Avigilon)
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
