The opportunity
Pollination is looking for a Paralegal in Sydney to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside a friendly and experienced team to support the success of the business as we pursue the net-zero transition.
This is a unique opportunity that offers both transactional paralegal duties alongside the opportunity to own multiple programs of work, drive efficiencies across the business and drive operational effectiveness. Reporting directly to our General Counsel, this role will have significant opportunity for impact.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with stakeholders from across the organisation, provide guidance and advice on legal matters, including leading on engagements with clients reviewing engagement letters, NDAs and other similar documents
- Vendor management: Dealing with vendors and negotiating terms and conditions
- Responding to KYC queries using standard responses and template materials to respond to queries.
- Engagement with external service providers
- Support for People Team on legal matters
- Assistance managing data rooms (providing access, updating documents Corporate secretarial matters
- Manage/Triage incoming requests from all business areas, manage competing priorities and set expectations
- Identify opportunities to improve the operational efficiency of legal tasks and processes
- Take ownership of multiple workflows and processes for the legal function and implementation of process improvements
- Maintain our catalogue systems (templates etc)
Must have
- Relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Graduate Diploma in Legal Studies
- Project and program management experience
- 2 years of professional experience in a paralegal role (or similar)
