Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Night Manager to join our team. As the Night Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our restaurant during evening hours. Your main focus will be ensuring a smooth and efficient operation, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall operations of the restaurant during evening hours
- Supervise and support staff members, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Oversee food preparation and ensure quality standards are met
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the restaurant
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery
- Coordinate catering orders and ensure they are prepared and delivered on time
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or coffee shop environment is required
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen management is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
