Candidates must possess experience managing the fuel/enegy price hedging programs ideally for Natural Gas and Diesel. Analyzing fuel markets information, fuel risk management assessments, identifying transaction trigger points to buy and sell positions, transaction accountability and billing reconciliation experience is desired.
This role comes with an excellent compensation plan with a base salary ranging from $90k to 100k plus an annual bonus opportunity. Relocation assistance is also available for candidates willing to relocate.

responsibilities:
-Runs the fuel price hedging program for Natural Gas and Diesel worth $50 millions per year in fuel
purchases.
-The role includes analyzing fuel markets information, fuel risk management assessments,
identifying transaction trigger points to buy and sell positions, transaction accountability, and billing
reconciliation.
-Develops and runs tools (Excel and Power BI models) for an integrated decision making process around
total fuel portfolio costs, and identifying the required actions driving cost in the desired direction.
-The role integrates fuel demand, landed fuel prices and preparation costs from Natural Gas, Coal, Petcoke,
Alternative Fuels and Diesel for all the operations.
-Investigates and consolidates the energy markets information, identifying the critical variables impacting the
energy supply chain planning and final delivery into operations
-Analyze and monitor systematically the cost performance of energy related infrastructure including fuel
preparation facilities (coal grinding and alternative fuels), pipelines and future energy recovery or self
generation assets
-Supports the identification and selection of vendors for commodity fuels, properly evaluating capabilities,
footprint and cost structure for products delivery
-Supports the integration of projects' business cases providing key price insights and participating during
risk analysis sessions
-Participates in the integration of the energy strategy and goals setting, CO2 emissions energy-related
accounting and action plans
-Implements a sound set of controls, reports and KPIs to ensure the expected performance of the Fuels and
Electricity portfolio
-Maintain the required databases and reports for any information necessary for internal and public
communications around the integrated energy cost
Education: Major in Engineering, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance
Technical knowledge and certifications
Excel: Advanced proficiency
Project Management: Medium experience
