Randstad is looking for Pickers-Material Handlers for a temp to hire position that provides ample opportunity for career progression with an industry leader.

 

salary: $18.71 - $18.72 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

● Loads / unloads trailers using dollies or motorized equipment
● Operates all material handling equipment safely: stand-up type forklift (PE, PC, RC)
● Responsible for building stable pallets of merchandise
● Responsible for staging unloaded products
● Communicates any problems to the supervisor including issues with the merchandise
location system or with the merchandise being loaded / unloaded
● Cleans up and disposes boxes, packing material, and pallets, as well as general
housekeeping of facility and specific product line areas
● Rotates through different departments, as necessary, to meet the demands of the
business
● Participates in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems
applicable to the position
● Performs all job tasks assigned by the leadership staff to achieve and maintain daily
productivity and quality goals



The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
