Our client is looking for two ITSO Support professionals to start as soon as possible for a 12-month duration contract. Each candidate must live within driving distance of Princeton, Hartford or Cincinatti.
This project will last approximately twelve (12) months across 2023 and 2024 and include 2-3 North American Data Centers. There is a team of six (6) supporting entities and application infrastructure in U.S. Canada. A quick learner/self-starter who operates well in a dynamic environment with strong technical and risk based focused are critical success factors as this program has been in progress since 2022.

responsibilities:
Assess and review Risk and Controls for the Data Centre Transformation program.
Task Description (= service description as in final offer)
? Project activity - Assess/review IT Security controls for applications transitioning to cloud.
? Perform IT application security risk assessments.
? Review and understand security architecture, data flow, network diagrams, etc.
? Review relevant documentation pertaining to in-scope applications.
? Identify gaps and risk levels; Define mitigating controls for risk/security gaps.
? Engage with ITRS consulting team to obtain risk levels for gaps.
? Work with PMs to prepare gap presentations for Primary Asset Owner(s)
? Work with Risk Assessment and Control Evaluation (RACE) process and RSA Archer tool
Required working experience (in years)
10 with minimum of 5 as IT security officer
Required skills and qualifications
Must have
? Technical degree (preferably in IT) or senior IT Security experience and knowledge of IT security
and infrastructure concepts, foundations, frameworks, and processes
? A solid understanding of security best practices and relevant standards such as ISO2700, NIST
CSF/RMF, PCI DSS
? Risk and Security governance knowledge and experience
? Basic knowledge of applicable laws/regulations pertaining to areas of responsibility
? Advanced knowledge of organization, technology controls, security, and risk issues
? Demonstrated ability to participate in complex, comprehensive, large projects, and initiatives.
? Fluent in Business English
Preferred
? Information Security Certification/Accreditation (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP)
? Business focused/Customer orientation, strong negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
? Initiative, creativity, innovation abilities
