What you’ll be working on:
- Keep log of fleet information on a server management can access.
- Coordinate authorized driver process with insurance company, and 3rd party lease company.
- Identify and coordinate process of selling surplus vehicles.
- Manage traffic fine process through logging data, monitoring data, improving process with internal and external communication channels.
- Manage toll fee process through logging data, monitoring data, improving process with internal and external communication channels.
- Monitor and analyze direct and indirect fleet costs.
- Maintain records and data regarding fleet for QMS and management information purposes.
- Coordinate fleet maintenance to designated repair shops and vehicle recall process.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to find ways to reduce downtime due to repairs or lack of routine maintenance.
- Respond to all queries and problems related to fleet, drivers and fleet management companies.
- Keep track of inventory systematically, allocate accordingly of small tow behind trailers.
- Ensure that all drivers understand and procure the licenses and permits they need to legally drive company vehicles.
- Ensure all fleet vehicles have proper insurance and registration cards inside vehicle cabs at all times.
- Document accidents and keep record log of all accidents to coordinate with legal team.
- Samsara- telematics reporting, installation and maintenance of equipment, monitoring data. Adhere to privacy policies.
- Safety inspection application, coordinate corrective action items I.E repairs, graphics with vendors and drivers.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes.

- RK Mechanical employees and subcontractors are required to implement and maintain all safety and health systems practices including the training requirements of RK Mechanical Orientation, shop specific orientation, CPR/First Aid/AED/Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Identification and Reporting, and OSHA 10.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
