Sr. Accountant

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in North Andover, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be essential to our team, performing crucial tasks such as month-end close procedures, balance sheet reconciliations, operational accounting, and process improvement within our technology industry setting.Responsibilities:• Conducting month-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up to date• Performing balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of our financial records• Handling operational accounting tasks to maintain the financial health of our organization• Driving process improvements to enhance efficiency within our accounting department• Utilizing software systems such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP to manage and analyze financial data• Preparing and posting journal entries to keep our general ledger current and accurate• Performing account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance• Conducting bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial transactions are accounted for• Collaborating with other team members to support overall department goals and objectives• Using your skills in analysis and problem-solving to address any issues or discrepancies that arise in financial data.
