We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the construction/contractor industry, located in NOVI, Michigan. The Sr. Accountant will play a crucial role in our team, focusing on processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be responsible for monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.Responsibilities:• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently• Maintain accurate customer credit records• Balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring all figures are correct and up to date• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns• Utilize Microsoft Excel to track and analyze financial data• Perform month-end close procedures, ensuring all accounting tasks are completed within the set timeframe• Utilize Viewpoint Spectrum for various accounting tasks• Monitor and manage work in progress (WIP) accounts• Handle full cycle accounting duties, from initial entry to final report• Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts receivable (AR) to ensure payments are made and received on time.
