- Create a safe environment for all ceremonies, promoting active participation from all squad members.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts within the squad.
- Lead the squad in promoting positive change and adopting standard processes.
- Have a deep understanding of Agile and related frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum) to enhance the squad's success.
- Determine the most effective approach for project implementation (Scrum, Scrum-ban, Kanban, etc.).
- Apply a thorough knowledge of Agile tools, techniques, principles, and values to the squad.
- Guide the PO and squad in maintaining a healthy, prioritized backlog with refined user stories.
- Effectively balance delivery timeframes and continuous iteration to ensure customer feedback is consistently incorporated.
- Oversee the JIRA board and individual stories, tracking their progress towards completion.
- Follow up with team members to ensure statuses are up-to-date and stories are appropriately commented.
- Resolve blockers, escalating when necessary.
- Ensure clear and accurate communication to partners and management, providing concise metrics and updates on progress, risks, and impediments.
- Support the Product Owner with release planning.
- Coordinate the movement of code between Development, Testing, UAT, and Production environments, managing all related planning, resourcing, and scheduling activities.
- Facilitate or participate in Scrum of Scrums meetings to ensure alignment on priorities, dependencies, and timelines among the Squad and all involved parties.
