What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter - Industrial position at S3?
We are seeking an Industrial Painter. As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of services. This position is for a full-time role.
Industrial Painters Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint.
- Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces.
- Mask and cover surfaces not to be painted.
- Tag and/or stencil painted tools and equipment.
- Palletize, band and/or package tools and equipment, and stage for delivery.
- Maintain and organize inventory of paint and related supplies.
- Observe all safety rules and procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance on paint booth (including cleaning booth and performing filter changes).
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Requirements
- Must be able to use pneumatic surface preparation tools (such as sanders and grinders).
- Must be able to use a paint spray gun.
- Must be committed to quality and ensuring that product leaves our facility in a professional and attractive appearance.
- Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
