Description
SAIC is seeking a strong candidate that has excellent attention to detail when it comes to financial numbers, specifically in the context of understanding Government budget builds and execution, financial tracking and reporting, and reporting on commitments, obligations and expenditures against budget line items. The position requires someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently to create high quality products, and experience working finance and budget topics.
Qualifications
- Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree, or experience considered in lieu of degree
- Experience running reports on customer projects to inform decisions; accurate tracking of commitments, obligations and expenditures is essential
- Experience updating pivot tables with budget information and providing reports to customer managers
- Ability to work with customers to take changes to their budget plans and update them in the customer’s budget tool where this information is tracked
- Ability to create and maintain the customer’s budget, WBS structure, BLIs, etc, in the budget tool
- Ability to track and report on all customer budgets to ensure they are not overspent
- Exceptional interpersonal skills as the position requires regular interaction with the workforce on financial matters
