Description
SAIC has an opening for a Benefits Administrator. This is a remote role. The Benefits Administrator works with in a shared services team environment to perform administrative and support activities for a variety of company sponsored programs with primary duties in support of disability, military leave, paid family leave management and pay, FMLA compliance & tracking as well as administration of state required leave programs.
Other responsibilities may include tracking for the leave donation program, supporting the workers compensation process and processing Qualified Medical Child Support Orders. Program support includes reporting, reconciliation processes and on-going process improvements
This role provides direct assistance to employees, managers and the HR business partner community through a centralized call center and e-mailbox. Assistance includes policy guidance, resolution of issues and general questions including directing employees to appropriate third party providers.
Qualifications
High School and five (5) years or more in employee benefits administration or related experience.
Required skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with employees/managers of all levels throughout the organization
- Ability and motivation to provide excellent customer service support through professional, accurate and timely responses
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships in a team environment
- Ability to understand and administer benefit policies and procedures
- Ability to work within software and database tools with metric tracking capabilities
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
Desired skills:
- Prior experience with leave and leave of absence programs and policies
- Knowledge of and experience with military leave administration
Target salary range: $35,001 - $45,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
