As the HR Assistant, you will support the Talent Acquisition team and its functions for the HR Department. You will support a team of Corporate Recruiters in managing a positive candidate experience from the interview stage through onboarding. This is an important and functionally critical role; you are the engine that keeps this department running smoothly!
This is an entry-level role and we will provide training and professional development for anyone interested in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
- Process requests and approvals for job requisitions and offer letters from hiring managers using our Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS)
- Coordinate and schedule a high volume of interviews for corporate recruiters and hiring managers across the US
- Process pre-employment screenings for all new hires, to include, criminal background checks, drug testing and motor vehicle reports
- Draft offer letters and other company required documents using our Applicant Tracking System and DocuSign
- Post job descriptions on SAM career site, job boards and other mediums
- Coordinate travel schedules and lodging for candidates as needed
- Coordinate on-boarding hand-off with HR Coordinator after new hire successfully passes the pre-employment screening process
- Manage Employee Referral Program
- Assist Talent Acquisition Manager with other administrative duties as assigned
- Experience in a fast-paced, high volume, work environment, preferably, in adminstration, HR, Talent Acquisition or other related field
- Must have strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and online meeting platforms
- You will have competing priorities throughout the day and you must be able to manage the demands to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Must be responsive and have the ability to exercise tact and remain customer focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, communicating effectively and proactively with individuals at all levels within the organization
- Ability to take direction, anticipate next steps and work independently on assigned tasks, as well as, contribute within a team environment
