Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Centerville

Job Type: 36 hours per week with Benefits

Pay: $22.00 per hour, overtime eligible

 

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Personal Assistant to join our team in Centerville. The ideal candidate will be a versatile professional with a wide range of talents and the ability to seamlessly manage a variety of tasks, from household management and personal errands to business support and assisting in event planning. This role requires a high-energy, innovative, and trustworthy individual who can anticipate the needs of both the family and the business, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in all aspects of daily life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Household Management: Oversee and perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring a well-organized and immaculate home environment. Manage household supplies and equipment, coordinating with vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Pet Care: Provide attentive care for family pets, including feeding, walking, grooming, and regular check-ups. Ensure pets are healthy and happy, and manage any pet-related appointments or emergencies. A love of pets is imperative.
  • Errands and Shopping: Handle various errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and managing deliveries. Demonstrate resourcefulness in sourcing and procuring items for the household or business as required.
  • Assists in Event and Party Planning: Coordinate social events, including family gatherings, parties, and business functions. Manage all aspects of event planning, from venue selection and décor to catering and entertainment.
  • Business Support: Assist with business-related tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining organization within the workplace. Provide support to the employer and ensure all business needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Anticipate Needs: Develop a proactive approach to managing the family's and business’s requirements. Anticipate needs and address potential issues before they arise, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.
  • Reporting: Provide daily updates and reports to the employer regarding household and business activities. Maintain clear and organized records of all tasks and communications.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role, with a demonstrated ability to handle a diverse range of tasks.
  • High energy, innovative, and adaptable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Trustworthy and discreet, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
  • Flexibility in working hours and availability, including weekends or evenings if required.

 

Requirements:

  • Flexibility is a must, may work nights and weekends
  • Reliable transportation to Centerville and a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency in using office software and communication tools.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform household chores and pet care tasks.
  • A genuine passion for providing high-quality support and maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.
