What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer position at Select Staff?
We are seeking Installer to join our team! You will help with installing shades for porches and businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install shades on porches and businesses, will be trained.
- Determine appropriate locations for operations and installations.
- Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
- Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components; Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
- Maintain equipment in good condition
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Must be willing to travel.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Construction or Installer experience is a plus.
- Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
- Ability in using tools hacksaw, skill saw, screwdriver, measuring tape, etc.
- Good understanding of quality control principles.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Has to be okay with heights, you will be using a ladders regularly.
- Work attire: Jeans or shorts, closed toe shoes.
