Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as a

Manager, Compliance

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is remote for residents of VA (traveling flexibility is required).

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Summary

Ensure that all assigned locations have processes and policies in place to comply with applicable rules and regulations. Coordinate internal audits, analyses, reviews and investigations of all locations and provide recommendations to improve compliance and internal controls with applicable State and Federal laws and regulations related to Medicare and Medicaid.

Ensure that appropriate auditing and monitoring, as well as compliance and privacy program training and other compliance and privacy program activities and initiatives are being appropriately provided to and undertaken by all assigned locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• In Lieu of Bachelor’s degree, (7)Seven years of experience in Compliance and/or Internal Audit. 

• Master's level degree in Business Administration or Health Administration preferred.
• Juris Doctor preferred.
• Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) and certificate for Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D) preferred
