How you will make an impact :
Contribute to a positive resident experience by planning and facilitating fitness activities that enrich their lives. In this role you will promote resident wellness by leading group fitness classes, providing personal training and assisting residents in improving their overall well-being.
This role has room for growth and flexibility for those looking for steady hours in the fitness industry serving seniors.
This is a full-time position with day-time hours.
What you will need :
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or Exercise / Fitness
- Field experience working with gerontology and / or special populations preferred in addition to personal training and group fitness instruction on land and in water
- Additional education with senior / aging, Alzheimer's and dementia training, senior counseling, communications, and / or spiritual programming
