Sodexo Healthcare has a fantastic opportunity for a highly passionate, experienced, organized, and disciplined individual with a strong commitment to food operations to join our team as an Executive Chef (South Asian Cuisine) at Christ Hospital in Jersey City, New Jersey.
This position will travel to multiple locations with the Care Point Healthcare system.

Job Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Directly manage patient service cooks. Covers schedules on an as needed basis
- Managing the daily food production process including production planning and controls
- Ensuring Sodexo Culinary Standards including recipe compliance and food quality
- Maintaining and ensuring HACCP standard
- Inventory management
- Responsible for yearly evaluation and goals for cooks
- Manages all aspects patient service menus
- Conducts walk through of all areas
- Maintains the Food Management System
- Responsible for Food and Physical Safety and all HACCP record keeping
- Responsible for maintaining Gold Check standards

Position Summary
Provides culinary leadership within a small sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through executionKey Duties-Executes the culinary function-Customer & Client satisfaction-Manages food & physical safety program.
Qualifications & Requirements
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceBasic Management Experience - 2 years Basic Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
