Unit Description
Sodexo is seeking a Executive Chef 2 to support our senior living clients in the Anaheim, CA area. We are seeking a highly motivated, and experienced Executive Chef or Kitchen Manager that will bring culinary creations to life. In this hands on role, you'll use your innovation, creativity and skill to develop menus for all dining experiences. We are open to chefs with seniors, healthcare, and/or restaurant leadership backgrounds.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on as needed, have excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy working with seniors, and managing and developing their team. Best qualified candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills. The Executive Chef provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution. have an active role in managing finances; P&L, cost controls, customer service, and will provide strategic leadership to staff.
Skillsets:
- Working knowledge of HACCP protocols for regulatory compliance
- Food production, catering, and retail management experience
- Hands on skills with inventory management, on-line ordering
- Ability to train & develop employees
Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
Manages catering & retail areas.
Customer & Client satisfaction.
Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
Manages food & physical safety programs.

Qualifications & Requirements
