What are the responsibilities and job description for the Join our team position at Soliant?
Minimum 1 years intrepreter experience required.
As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will provide interpreting and transliterating services for students who use ASL as their primary mode of communication.
You will support students in accessing educational instruction, social interactions, and extracurricular activities. Collaboration with teachers, staff, and families is essential to ensure an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Qualifications :
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
Certification as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification)
Experience working with students in an educational setting (preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
You will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing the educational experience of students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
