A bit about the role…

As the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist, you will be a key member of the Growth team as an expert in off-page SEO (backlinking and outreach) and on-page SEO. You are an energetic individual who is a highly organized go-getter. You will make an impact in the overall Organic SEO strategy we’re building to generate more inbound leads and traffic. You will report to our Director of Growth and you will work closely with the Marketing Team, especially our Content Manager, to distribute our content to specific audiences.

WHO YOU ARE 

• You have 2 years of SEO backlinking and outreach experience.
• Proven results increasing backlinks, search rankings, traffic, and conversions from SEO initiatives.
• You know how to craft great emails for outreach and you are eager to roll up your sleeves to reach out to many publications/websites to get backlinks.
• You have experience with SEO Software (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc), Google Suite (Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google Search Console, etc.), and WordPress.
• Experience with technical SEO audits and management of tasks for audit errors
• You have a collaborative and positive attitude with a passion for questioning assumptions and answering questions with data, in order to unlock value for the enterprise.
• You are self-directed, proactive, and able to define and execute projects independently.
• White-hat SEO is the only way…and you love being creative!
  

Bonus if you have...

• Strong writing skills to help build our online glossary and add content to other SEO pages.
• Read a lot of Backlinko, and other top SEO blogs and keep yourself updated on the new SEO trends.
• Experience in competitive analysis, extracting best practices from it.

SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
• Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
• Be willing to comply with Solink’s own security policies and standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Drive traffic to the Solink page - be visible and garner clients!
• Push our on-page SEO to the next level (site structure, page titles, Metas, URLs, redirects, internal linking, sitemap review/maintenance, etc.)
• Create and execute on our off-page SEO and backlinking strategy which will have a direct impact on leads for our sales teams. You will own the outreach, crafting emails and being relentless on increasing our backlinks’ volume and quality.
• Create SEO dashboards: Monitor, track, and analyze keyword and topic ranking performance on an ongoing basis to make sure we’re hitting our targets.
• Execute Backlink Gap Analysis Audits amongst direct competitors, and look at the best in class in similar B2B SaaS companies to continuously update and strengthen our backlinking strategy.
• Conduct SEO audits to find new opportunities, create recommendations and execute on the priorities we will define as a team.
• Find new ways to get more leads from our current organic strategy (eg. managing CTAs, testing layouts, running experiments on copy, A/B tests and CRO, etc.)
  
• Work closely with our Content Manager to distribute the new and updated content with efficiency.
• Keep current with the latest SEO trends to identify new projects.
