Job description
Responsibilities:
- Ensure outstanding production of income per retail deal handled.
- To be familiar with and ensure enforcement of all laws and regulations including but not limited to: Truth In Lending Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley (privacy) Act, Information Safeguards Rule, Patriot Act, OFAC requirements, Cash Reporting Requirements, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and Equal Credit Opportunity Act.
- Be familiar with and hold yourself and your department to the published “Standards of Conduct".
- Ensure that all deals are being worked in accordance with approved procedures.
- Ensure that every deal is properly referred to Finance Department through the established Turn-Over process, and maintain strong working relationship with salespeople and management.
- Ensure all legal and ethical requirements are met on every deal.
- Ensure that all legal and ethical measures are taken to get appropriate funding for each deal.
- Develop and maintain best sources of finance for different types of paper. Maintain records for guidance. Meet with lenders regularly.
- Provide Dealer and Comptroller with accurate and timely month-end analysis.
- Maintain programs, equipment, and paper flow procedures for Finance Department.
- Advise Dealer immediately of any deviation from approved procedures.
- Be accountable for Total Customer Satisfaction and CSI.
- Supervise salesmen’s performance concerning F&I through Sales Managers and conduct trainings as necessary.
- Coordinate closely with Sales Managers and Comptroller and other departments as necessary.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of dealership finance experience is required
- Prior automotive sales management experience is a plus
- A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Self motivated with the ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to be analytical, problem solve and multi-task
- Possess a valid in-state driver's license
- Pass a motor vehicle report and possess an acceptable safe driving record
