What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Manager position at Steadily?
Steadily is a venture backed insurtech for landlords. We've grown from five to over nearly ninety (and growing) talented individuals in the past two years as the demand for our service continues to rise.
Our purpose is to give landlords all over the country a fast, modern insurance buying experience and amazing customer service so they're confident they'll have the coverage they need on a rainy day. Because of our technology and service, our customers love being insured by us, even when they have a claim.
We've doubled our sales team in 2022 and we're searching for a seasoned sales leader to lead, grow, and press efficiency on our sales team into 2023.
What You'll Do
- Lead a high performing sales team by setting vision, implementing strategy, and developing infrastructure as the department continues to grow.
- Create and continuously improve workflows and processes to maximize efficiency and increase department production.
- Leverage data analytics to understand our sales organization and facilitate optimal performance.
- Continue to grow a top-notch sales department by participating in interviewing and recruiting other great talent as needed.
Your Background
- Experienced: You are a gifted leader with 3 years experience leading high performing sales teams with autonomy.
- Insurance: You have a history of successful sales leadership experience in P&C insurance.
- Digital: You are extremely tech savvy and know how to leverage data and technology to your advantage.
- Operations: You have strong operational acumen when it comes to a sales organization.
- Driven: You can handle important responsibilities and assignments with limited oversight.
Required Licensing
- You must have an active property and casualty license in at least one state.
- We will pay for you to get licensed in additional states, if necessary.
Compensation and Benefits
- $80,000 base salary (OTE - $120,000)
