This individual will plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of branch operations, consistent with the operating goals and objectives of STIHL Inc. and ANDREAS STIHL.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Directs and manages the sales, distribution, and service of all products, parts, and accessories at branch.
- Develops and communicates sales policy, philosophy and objectives to ensure maximum sales and operating efficiency.
- Develops and maintains strong relations with existing dealers, ensuring open communications regarding sales opportunities and account balances.
- Plans and directs the recruitment of new dealers, ensuring conformance with STIHL standards.
- Directs the development of advertising, sales promotions, and other marketing plans to secure market position with respect to products and accessories, new markets and existing markets, and new business.
- Oversees annual territory reviews by sales force to ensure market share goals are being achieved.
- Directs the overall distribution operations of the branch, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment to meet customer expectations.
- Oversees the overall financial position of the branch, including dealer accounts, operating expenses, capital expenditures, personnel costs, and inventory costs.
- All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as necessary.
Specifications
- 4 year college degree in Marketing or related discipline.
- 15 years of related experience in the sales and distribution of portable outdoor power equipment.
- Overnight travel by road and/or air required as specified on an annual basis.
- Working knowledge of Personal Computer (Microsoft Office software).
