Bank Teller
Stryv Bank is looking for a full-time Teller. This position assists customers with banking transactions and represents Stryv Bank by developing and fostering positive relationships with customers and various community organizations. Some essential functions of this position are:
· Cash checks and pay out money after verifying that signatures are correct, that written and numerical amounts agree, and that accounts have sufficient funds.
· Receive checks and cash for deposit, verify amounts, and check accuracy of deposit slips.
· Enter customers’ transactions into computers to record transactions and issue computer-generated receipts.
· Balance currency, coin, and checks in cash drawers at ends of shifts, and calculate daily transactions using computers, calculators, or adding machines.
· Examine checks for endorsements and to verify other information such as dates, bank names, identification of the persons receiving payments, and the legality of the documents.
· Count currency, coins, and checks received, by hand or using currency-counting machines, to prepare them for deposit or shipment to branch banks or the Federal Reserve Bank.
This position must also comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

· Ability to provide courteous, knowledgeable and professional customer service in person, and on the telephone and via electronic communications.
· Ability to perform a wide range of administrative skills.
· Knowledge of general banking policies /procedures
· Strong/advanced skills operating a personal computer including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and navigating the internet.
· Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, exercise good judgment and make and act upon decisions with minimal supervision.
