POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager performs and directs the overall success of the store. Works with management team to ensure that food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness standards are maintained. Maintains standards of restaurant safety and security. Recruits staff and oversees training program. Responsible for inventory and money control systems. Maintains business records. Exceptional customer service is a major component of this position.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Works well with a team and can effectively delegate tasks so that all store tasks are taken care of.
- Completes
and posts a minimum of two weeks’ worth of staff schedules and keeps the store staffed to handle business needs.
- Must have a flexible schedule and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel/manage alternate nearby stores when needed.
- Works a minimum of 30 hours a week 5 days a week (excluding any approved time off).
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness, food safety standards and operational excellence throughout the store with the help of the team.
- Supervises the launch of new operational procedures and ensures they are maintained.
- Is responsible for labor controls, inventory costs, banking, store training, and any additional operational drop Subway releases.
- Handles customer escalations on the spot and follow up as needed and responds to all customer comments and shares feedback with team.
- Meets or exceeds expectations for labor, food cost, guest survey, etc. to be eligible for manager bonuses.
- Experience: A minimum of two (2) years in a restaurant environment, experience in supervising and training staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must work well with others and know how to collaborate with management to continually improve store operations.
- Needs to always follow and practice proper standard operational procedures.
- Must be willing to learn new skills and tasks to align with business needs.
- Position
requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have the
ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
