Account Manager
SUMCO’s sales team is critical to our success. We’re seeking a qualified Account Manager to help sell the products that our customers rely on in their manufacturing process. The successful sales representative will develop a strong understanding of SUMCO’s products and sales processes and excel at generating new qualification opportunities. In addition, a successful Account Manager will build strong customer relationships at all levels. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who has strong negotiating skills and an ability to convey our value proposition to customers effectively. The sales representative must be both personable and professional.

Position Objectives
Represent the company’s products and services to assigned customers to meet sales goals.
Achieve sales budgets by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
Build strong customer relationships at all levels of the customer.
Develop and implement a territory action plan that meets company objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain strong working relationships with customers to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
Make customer appointments, organize and conduct effective sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business.
Possess in-depth product knowledge to be able to discuss with commercial contacts and overcome objections.
Prepare concise and accurate quotations, reports, forecasts, budgets and other required documentation.
Responsible for all sales-related activities including customer meetings, coordinating internal commercial and technical discussions for customer satisfaction.
Coordinate global sales activity for customers headquartered in the USA.
Education and Skills:
5 years’ experience in semiconductor industry or related industry, selling directly to semiconductor manufacturers preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree
Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
Proficiency with MS Windows/Office applications and SAP.
Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time for customer and internal meetings.
Semiconductor/Technical background preferred.
This position is an on-site position with an annual salary range from $130,000 to $150,000 depending on education and experience.
