What are the responsibilities and job description for the AP Manager position at Suntex Marinas?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Post customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions in the ERP system, Balance and record deposits; Ensure all payments are posted by the end of the day
2. Ensure invoices go out on time
3. Contacts customers to help resolve payment issues in a positive mannaer
4. Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and notify manager of irregularities
5. Openly communicate with direct manager at all times
6. Assist with any reports requested by Home Office
7. May assist with opening and closing duties
8. May assist with contracts during busy times
9. Other duties as assigned by Manager
OPERATING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work performed and composed of a variety of different tasks, calling for use of judgment; and compliance with policies and procedures. Must be both a team player and self-starter.
Requires excellent interpersonal skills and computer literacy.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Associate’s Degree preferred
2. Excellent interpersonal and outstanding communication skills;
3. Very organized and detail oriented;
4. Must have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and have excellent accounting skills
5. Ability work independently to achieve goals and targets;
6. Ability to organize and prioritize work;
7. Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department and corporate goals;
8. Must thrive in a fast paced environment;
9. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external customers;
10. Self-starter;
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office products
12. Some knowledge of ERP systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $37,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
